INTERNATIONAL MOTHERS DAY- Today on International mothers day,I can recall the period my mother spent in the hospital in 2018. Hospital staff often fail to feed older patients properly, get them out of bed enough or control their pain adequately. Providers frequently restrict their movements by tethering them to beds with oxygen tanks and IV poles. Doctors subject them to unnecessary procedures and prescribe redundant or potentially harmful medications. And caregivers deprive them of sleep by placing them in noisy wards or checking vital signs at all hours of the night.

International mothers day -Yet the unique needs of older patients are not a priority for most hospitals, Preeti Khanna said. Doctors and other hospital staff focus so intensely on treating injuries or acute illnesses — like pneumonia or an exacerbation of heart disease — that they can overlook nearly all other aspects of caring for the patients.On International mothers day

 I was missing her. Improving care for older patients requires an investment that hospital administrators are not always willing to make, experts said. Some argue, however, that the investment pays off — not just for older people but for hospitals themselves as well as for a country intent on controlling health care spending.

Whenever I last visited her on her birthday and International mothers day, notice a spark on her face and smile as her wait is over that must have begun with dawn of her day. Therefore I have concluded that pampering elders is nothing less than attaining blessings from them and God as well!-International mothers day 
I wish if I could spend more of the time with her,as she is no more in this world. But this desire would never end till I reach to her in heaven after life. 
My mother would always tell me that she wanted to live more but high drugs of medicine and spinal injury did not allow her to pursue this dream any more. After surgery she would always asked for a peaceful end. As she is in heaven now I do not want any one make decision of spinal injury in last ages of life or after 70 years of age when healing is slow one can not take decision of under going surgery, as this would mean, body has been taken for granted. And in result can cause more miserable life.
If you analyze more of the cases in ICU, spinal surgery has worsen the case, rather than improving. So, I would suggest try to pamper more and more of your mother on this International mothers day as you have this treasure that no other wealth can replace.

Elders need us more than anyone else
